The Skinny Tire Fall Festival returns for its second year, building on a beloved Moab cycling tradition with a new seasonal twist. For over two decades, Skinny Tire has brought riders together each spring to experience Moab’s iconic red rock landscapes on two wheels. Now, the ride continues into fall for a second year in a row.
Set against the golden tones of Moab, this non-competitive cycling event blends scenic road riding with community connection and purpose. It’s ultimately a celebration of cycling, friendship, and giving back.
Routes are carefully designed to showcase some of Moab’s most memorable scenery. Along the way, riders wind along the Colorado River corridor and through sweeping sandstone vistas. Each ride is fully supported, with rest stops, local food, and time to take in the views.
More than a ride, the festival also supports the Skinner Cancer Institute and the ongoing fight against cancer. That purpose is present throughout the entire weekend, from start line to finish line.
Fall is one of the most inviting times to experience Moab. In addition, cooler temperatures and lighter crowds make the desert feel more open and accessible. As a result, the rides take on a different kind of energy in that setting.
